They are a politically corrupt organization in my opinion. With their “wife-beater” studies, their “guns in the home” studies, and the multitude of bad/good/bad leap studies (e.g., eggs bad/good/bad, salt bad/bad/good, et al), they can’t be trusted.

This is not what I have seen. In fact, I was very proud of the CDC when they bucked the political pressure and released a firearms study in 2012 that went against the administration's wishes.

Didn’t see the study - maybe one of them actually got a conscience, but I still maintain they are politically motivated, and I absolutely do not trust their ‘flu’ program.
