Carrying a Tablet (Kindle, Ipad, Nexus, etc) While Male.

Okay, I need to know this BEFORE I give my husband his tablet for...all the gifts for the next year. Purchased a tablet for him because he will be spending time with his dad who is in a care center/home bound about an hour from our house. Only internet access for him will be at the care center and husband needs something to bide his time.

How does a guy transport a tablet from place to place? I have a purse, obviously transport is NOT an issue. What sort of bag, luggage, case, does a guy use and not look like sissified? I KNOW the issue will come up as he's all about not looking like a metrosexual. LOL

Help...

I carry my Ipad in a folding cover in my hand.

Also, in a pinch, it is a nice weapon if someone decides to ‘hinder you from your self-appointed rounds’.

Back before cell phones, I had talked my Company into buying the portable 2 way radios— told them that way they wouldn’t have trouble locating me...(HA) ....

Served 2 purposes...when going into a bar, just set it on the bar and if it started crackling just go to the pay phone and mention the reception was bad.

Also, that radio made for a nice ‘weapon’, right in your hand if the need arose...
And paving the streets in NE and SE Washington DC definitely needed a ‘deterrent’.

My pad fits snugly in my back pocket - Just have to remember to remove when sitting down...

They will only withstand so much ‘pressure’.....

This. Leather zip-up case. I'm a Network Administrator, so if I need the horsepower of my laptop... I put the iPad in a side compartment of my laptop bag.

If I'm going to meetings, worksite, etc... I just carry it in my hand.

I have a magnetic leather case that I carry my Kindle in. It automatically turns the Kindle on when you open it. I take the Kindle every where with me. When my wife goes shopping, or into antique shops, I sit outside and read. It’s a life saver!

I like Oberon design. Some are very feminine but others suit me just fine.

My tablet fits nicely in the pockets of my cargo pants. It would probably fit in my fanny pack, but that's where my gun is.

The most efficient way he can. :) After he breaks it he’ll put it in a case to carry it.

LOL That's it. I'm trying to prevent the breaking PRIOR to the hard lesson learned.

When I am out I wear a photographer’s vest. I carry all my necessities in it including my Kindle Fire.

That's just a joke. He would look manly carrying it around but it is bulky and has some weight.

They usually have a leather cover that make them look like a portfolio. But I would suggest a backpack. That way he can bring other stuff, snacks, etc.

I was in that same situation with my dad. Tablet was a nice relief.

The guys I know carry those in “laptop” type briefcases...or satchels.

Black, leather or leather look...can hold a laptop, or a tablet, plus other stuff.

Doesn’t look feminine at all...more businesslike.

Anything manufactured by Pelican Products or Plano is acceptable for a man to carry.

Well, instead of dicking around on facebook he could actually pay attention to his father. Honor him, you know?

That was completely uncalled for.
