Its annoying to see the “apartheid” meme trotted out again and again. Israel is the only country in the middle east where Christians and Jews are safe from being slaughtered by their muslim neighbors (that, of course, thanks to God and the IDF).
There is apartheid all over the middle east. Israel is the one country where it is not.
Now, I’ll give you three guesses, who caused the break up of Pink Floyd?
Waters has always been a pretentious twit with little to no understanding of the issues he “raises”. I saw him in the late 80s, not long after he split from Floyd. It was a fantastic musical performance, but I left early because he started in on his diatribes late in the show. He actually stopped playing to do a Q and A with audience members about Reagan, Acid Rain, etc. No thanks.
Ole Roger ought to be banned from ever performing any sort of music in any public forum. His instruments should be confiscated and distributed to those who can make music and not soil the music process. He should be stripped of every penny he has, left to be a ward of the state and, if necessary, he should be laced up in a straightjacket and muzzled so as not to utter a sound.
Only then can ole Rog begin to understand the sort of Hell HE proposes others would suffer should HIS demands ever be met.
There are a couple of classic Floyd albums I don’t yet own and would like to own, but Waters’ political views keep me from buying them.
This might be cruel of me, but I’d rather have Syd Barrett back if I could exchange Waters for him.
Or dump him in Gaza with a bunch of Hamastani that don’t know who he is.
At least in Syd’s case, a lot of his insanity was LSD-induced.
Put a wig on him, with curls like a Hasidim, a kippah, wrapped in a tallit, and a kittel. Let’s see how the rabid muzzies treat one of their “defenders” when they kneejerk slaughter his worthless carcass.
I know Pink Floyd has ardent followers and though I can’t include myself in that group I did hear a song called “Free Four” recently which I found interesting.
Can’t stand his politics but I saw him do “The Wall” recently. Best sounding concert I ever heard. “Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking” is also one of my favorites.
Brilliant musician with silly political views. Pretty par for the course.
