I am preaching to a choir, but really, homophobic means FEAR of homosexuals. No one fears them. It is an abomination of the English language to create a connotation for a word that means something quite different. The insidiousness of this all is that the “fear” part is a perceived emotion people who are in favor of normalizing homosexuality attribute to anyone who does not agree with them.

Sure, the Church teaches that marriage can exist only between a man and a woman.
But Martin is pretending that that’s ALL the Church teaches on this subject.
The Church teaches that all sexual acts other than those between a husband and wife, which are apt for the generation of children, are grave matter.
There are NO appropriate ways for anyone to “celebrate unions” that include sexual acts that are mortal sins.
Martin seems to believe in pre-emptive surrender to persecutors of the Church. Just like most American bishops.

Then went on to talk about the attacks on the Catholic Church. (gays-abortion)The danger the church was in and to go forth and help defend the Canon Laws! (and church) It was inspiring!

People are not being homophobic just because they are not actively participating in gay activism at that very moment. They are simply sick to death of people inflicting their filthy opinion and practices on them non-stop 24/7 while calling them "homophobic".
