They had special, exclusive stores for the upper level party members.

You will see some version of the same thing go on here...if we allow it to go that for.

But we do not have to do that.

A scene to be played out in the US in the very near future.

Yep. And this is what all the spoiled rotten little I-phone lugging, Obama voting, socialism loving morons do not get. They just think the good times will go on forever, and money grows off of trees.

A Russian grocery store now. Thank-you JPII, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher:

I remember reading that from a defecting spy.

The Communist elite had the best housing shopping, everything.

The ordinary peasant had just enough to get by.

Thanks so much! My Polish family lived through this for 45 years, so I've always known what it was like. But I've never been able to see it. It's exactly as described.

I was able to visit Poland in 1991, as the country was beginning to turn around. You can't imagine the bleakness. Everything was gray. EVERYTHING.

Do you think there is anyone alive.today who could accomplish what they did? Serious question.

My Sister and Brother-in-Law have spent most of the last few years in Europe. They return home for 3 or 4 months and they are off again. I personally have no desire to leave the U.S.

They do give me some interesting perspectives. They say the Scots and the Poles are the friendliest. The Hungarians are standoffish but if you ask them for help they are good to do so.

Serbia has the best food and is the least expensive to live in tho Hungary is also fairly cheap. They also think Hungary is the most beautiful country in Europe. They also like Germany, France and Spain. Not real fond of Austria or Switzerland despite their beauty.

I'm so glad that the people are finally free. I never thought I'd live to see it. I'm sad that my father never did. Man, did he hate the commies.

My aunt was able to come to visit us in America around 1980. She didn't believe that our supermarket was real. She thought that it was just for show, for visitors to the country.

In the comments below the YouTube video, someone mentioned a Polish woman who cried when she visited an American supermarket, realizing that her children would never see anything like this.

It's up to us to spread these videos. Kids don't learn about this in school.

Even my daughter was shocked when she saw this. Her job dropped. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Serious answer:

They were a Godsend. I believe they were given to us to prepare us for what we are now experiencing and for the job we will be given to preform.

Our memory is still fresh and they are still providing guidance even though they have all passed on.

Our job is to become like them in spirit and action.

No, it won’t come to the USA, as long as patriots live.

One of my best friends taught at the American school in Taegu. He claimed S. Korea was a beautiful country. He also taught in Japan and married a Japanese model. She really is pretty and they live in the US.

He drives a Rolls Royce which probably helped him land her.
