Good news he’s coming home. So sorry for the absolute BS he was put through. BUMP
Looking at the circumstances it sounds way excessive (and also politically fueled and arbitrary) what was done to him, but the kind of polarization which will only tell one side of the story is not conducive to truth either. It is a sign of weakness, not strength, when we must oversimplify complex stories. Strength is only regained by reinvesting ourselves in the Lord.
Does anyone think this would have happened in the Pacific Theater in WWII?

Things that make you go hmmmm... it is interesting that his mother was the lead prosecuter in the Timothy McVeigh trial. A trial where information about the role of the FBI in the explosion was completely covered up, according to multiple sources. A trial where the lies and cover-ups were all to protect our government. Kind of like what happened to her own son. If you haven’t seen the movie Closed Circuit, you should rent it and replace the location with Oklahoma City.
