Just a few weeks ago, 11-month-old Shaista was pulling herself up, giggling as she took her first wobbly steps with the helping hand of her teenage mother.
Then the polio virus struck and Shaista was no longer able to stand, her legs buckling beneath her weight. Today, her mother cries a lot and wonders what will become of her daughter in Pakistans male-dominated society, where a womans value is often measured by the quality of her husband. [ ]

polio vaccinations are a Western plot to sterilize Moslems..
Hate to think of how they’ll interpret polio deaths in that case.
I’m more worried that it will be brought here by limp wristed liberals allowing unlimited immigration.
Or even worse, targeted immigration. This sounds like an "opportunity" for Obama to grant refugee status and bring more disease to the US.
sharia keeps them vaccine-free, don’cha see.
Yet one more thing to thank Islam for.
“polio vaccinations are a Western plot to sterilize Moslems..”
Invented by a Jew, Dr. Salk, who maliciously refused to patent his vaccine so more children could be saved. . . . er, more Muslims sterilized, I mean.
For that, they'll blame the Jooooooooooooooooooos!
As you say...
Thanks for the ping.
