There will be a lot of bad stuff come out of the Civil war and no one will report on the good stuff.
If this was an old camp where some Indians had camped for the night, the whole world would stop and they’d have all the time they need.
500,000+ white people died to FREE black people from slavery..
AND are hated.. reviled and attacked by the very people they freed..
NO good deed goes UNpunished with progressives..
Ungrateful mentally deficient chickens have come home to roost..
It’s not ancient but older than me! (so this may be up your alley)
This was a prisoner of war camp in the south...seriously doubt there are any "good stuff" to tell..
Ever do any research on the Andersonville prison camp?
It isn't pretty...
Sad but true. In 2000 during a big wildfire in NM a co-worker had property in the area and went up to let fire crews stage there. During the cutting of one fire break, an archaeologist walked ahead of the bulldozer making sure no artifacts were damaged.
It isn’t pretty...
That is true. I meant that none of the good stories of the civil war will come out just the bad. The freeing of the slaves will not be mentioned but every story and imagined story of the evil white people against the blacks will be magnified.
Thanks m, not a lot to see yet.
North Carolina, he was shot in one of the north carolina/virginia border fights after Fredericksburgh, held in a pow camp in Plymouth North Carolina, died there and is buried in New Bern, North Carolina
Northern camps weren’t exactly no country club either.
——Northern camps werent exactly no country club either.——
Very true....but nothing even close to the horror of Andersonville ever happened in Union p.o.w. camps...
Even Hilter put a roof over the head of his camp victims...
