A university-assigned textbook that appears to suggest former President Ronald Reagan was a sexist and says conservatives view individuals as lazy and corrupt is under fire from at least one student.

“This is really outrageous,” Anna Chapman, a University of South Carolina student in the class, told Campus Reform. “[I]t’s so in your face, people need to know about it.”

Didn't see any mention of a definition for left wing extremist liberal demokkkrat scumbags. The author of the book also left out that conservatives want only them/us to have guns, we're racis', we hate anybody that isn't of European descent, and we don't give stuff to anybody because we're selfish and cling to the bible. Thanks to Ms. Chapman for bringing this to folks attention. She's right to outraged.

It’s the dumbing-down of the population and indoctrination on steroids. It’s Soviet Union tactics brought to the U.S. and it’s being done by those that many people look up to, just like in the old Soviet Union.

Problem is that, with the liberals and their control of the education system, it’s likely to have the effects which they hope to get with people that don’t know any better and with those that are willing to accept what’s put in front of them, no questions asked.

When a person in authority in a university hands out an assignment for reading, the students have to go along, no matter how much the material is biased, because, their grades depend on it. That is forced indoctrination, and though some will see through the bias, others will just accept the content at face value, and that’s where the dangers is, and the professors are counting on that.

Yep. There's only one Reagan.

At this point, I'd take Hillary! over the current occupier of the WH. At least she's an American, and probably doesn't want to destroy the country.

So I'm going into work this morning. Blurb on the radio says that "A Survey says that 26% of people think the sun revolves around the earth, rather than the other way 'round."

Granted, it's morning talk radio and hardly concrete scientific evidence. But it didn't surprise me, either.

Yeah, their ideological “father” takes what is good and true and TWISTS it into a perversion of its true self.

The “accusation” that conservatives see people as “lazy and corrupt” is a perversion of the truth.
Conservatives generally have the “limited” view of the condition of Man, ie, that he’s inherently sinful, that his wicked behavior comes from within and is not, as the liberals believe, “inherently good” and his negative behavior is simply a product of his environment.

That is why no human can be allowed to have power over the life, liberty or property of another, because he will abuse that power. This is reality. This is why our gov’t is set up the way it is.

The liberals’ view of mankind leads them to being SHOCKED! SHOCKED! that when they provide a good environment, say, more fruits and veggies to buy, that people still don’t buy them.

Broken down by ideology, conservative republicans faired rather well, comparatively.
That 26% was the results of a group called “conservative democrats”.

Conservative republicans’ results were in the 70’s. Still too low.

The trouble being the left has almost total control of positions of authority and of public opinion. It will not be long until the more vocal conservatives are rounded up and placed in camps.

Oh, she wants a USSA as much as anyone.
I’ll hand this to you though, USSA or not, Barry wants to see America punished.

Appears that a lot of youngsters have already been “taught” that self dependance/reliance is bad. Teams are “everything” and without being part of one there is no chance of succeeding. WRONG! Sometimes, you gotta do things on your own. It would be easier if you had some help but sometimes, it just isn’t available. Besides, you didn’t do that. Nope. Somebody else did that for you. Sheesh. Thank God there are still parents out there that teach their kids that being responsible for your self and actions is THE basic principle. One of my former work buddies used to tell us his Dad always told him: “Don, ain’t nobody out there that really gives a s*** about you. Take care of your self first.” LOL!

This goes under the heading of editorializing in textbooks.
It is also a very clever way to screen out unwanted characteristics from the social studies professions.

Students that are not willing to accept these type of drivel will become alienated, their grades will suffer, and eventually will change majors.

This is a type of discrimination. Fair minded students will be weeded out and the graduating classes will be full of like minded "professionals" ready to work in government, education, politics, foundations, etc.
I've had occasion to talk to some of these people and they all seem to be cast from the same mold.

Agreed. Our Constitution’s checks and balances, (if they had the courage to use them), are proof positive that our Founders understood that men are inherently sinful. When used as designed, they keep inherently sinful men from abusing their power.

I would have had trouble believing this ten years ago. Five years ago, even.

But now I can easily imagine this kind of oppression happening here. These people are flat nuts and would have no problem 'eliminating' those with whom they disagree.

Once the fact our essential individual rights descend from God is eliminated as the base assumption of our form of government it will not be long before really bad things start happening.

It is not madness that governs the Left it is an overwhelming lust for power, absolute total power. They must be resisted and by force if necessary. The various Conservative factions must settle their differences and organize a united front.
