a woman has been charged and arrested for attempt of murder after she allegedly poisoned her husband, Israel Police said.
According to Tel Aviv Region Police, a 31-year-old woman and her lover have been arrested on Tuesday, after their attempt to kill a man.
Initial investigation prove that the woman fell in love with her sister's husband, and kept their relationship a secret.
She decided to take the extreme step when her husband found out about the romance recently.
The woman kept poisoning her husband gradually, who was hospitalized several times during the past year with severe stomach pains.
Several weeks ago, the man ate a sandwich and he noticed that it has a weird taste.
When he walked outside, he collapsed. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
In the hospital, he began suspecting that his wife was trying to kill him and called the police.
Police arrested the wife and her brother-in-law, but they denied all the allegations.
The suspects will be brought before the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court for bail hearings. Charges are still pending.

Sometimes I think the only thing that ever happens in Israel has something to do with Hamas or Hezbollah. It’s good to know they have normal things like a lady trying to kill her husband so she can have her brother in law.
