Why conservatives are in trouble
World Net Daily ^ | 2/21/2014 | Patrice Lewis

In last weekend’s column about the built-in absurdity endemic in Obamacare, I stated my thesis that elements within the United States government are making a serious and concerted effort to bring about America’s downfall and that the only way to stop it is to stand in their path, united.

But so far conservatives haven’t done this. That’s why we’re in trouble.

That’s not what this topic is about.

It is not like I lack sympathy with the notion, but endless repetition is spam and it’ll get you nowhere.

Sort of a microcosm of the real world, in a way...sort of like having our own little Westboro Baptist Church.

China is now the largest exporter on the planet.

Is that Goods, Services or both?

I disagree.

America’s trade situation is a monumental mess, and China is a huge factor is that mess.

China is a COMMUNIST NATION. Ruled by one race, which does not allow free trade, nor full international investment.

Yet go in any store in America, and all you see on every shelf are things, which if you turn them over and look say:

“Made in China”.

We are selling out our own nation. For real.

For what?

This is why conservatism doesn’t currently hold a higher place in America.

You cannot lead a country, by selling a country to a massive communist giant.

Wake up, and bring back American manufacturing.

What does this have to do with the topic? Nothing.

Try a different format, too.

I strongly disagree.

This is key, to why conservativism isn’t stronger right now.

We are losing sight of the fact, we must look out for America first.

We have the internet news distribution.

They have an echo chamber.

The problem is that many including some of us get their news from the MSM echo chamber. And sometimes as we look to see what the other side is thinking we make the mistake that it’s news only if it comes from their side. Not true, the MSM is losing viewers and readers year over year. My sister who ia a reporter for the WSJ says WSJ is doing ‘OK’ compared to others but they are worried that so many readers and viewers are escaping them. Her husband who is a reporter for the Boston Globe and who was a White House Press reporter is starting a beer brewery with his brother; smart guy, one of the few, for a liberal northeast MSM reporter.

You’re not articulating very well.

One of the points of this discussion appears to be to highlight just how the GOP-e is suppressing conservatism. Including the matters that you are spamming about.

You might consider as spam - claiming that tax laws, unions and regulations are what exported jobs. When the Bush tax cuts happened, jobs were created in China by the boatload.

As I recall, regulation increased to negate any positive effect for domestic industry, resulting only in benefits to crony corporatists.

China is a COMMUNIST NATION. Ruled by one race, which does not allow free trade, nor full international investment.

Well, there's the solution. We must switch to a command and control economy so we can complete with the Chinese, right?

How 'bout we get back on topic?

I articulate as I can.

The GOP-e is hopelessly in bed with globalists.

The problem with this is, we don’t have globalism in the single most populated country now, which has now taken the lead in exports.

China is the exact opposite to globalist. China is a massive, one-race, closed, rapidly arming nation which doesn’t even allow Americans to own companies, or buy land.

America needs to do something differently. The Tea Party may be a solution, but must embrace American jobs.

I don’t recall that the Tea Party rejects employment of Americans. Their platform includes wiping out the burdensome regulatory/taxation structure that is a major impediment to small and medium-sized domestic businesses, as well as the bloated welfare state that discourages work and encourages indolence.

I’d certainly like to see something out of you that is more pertinent to the topic instead of the whole one-note-Johnny act.

I agree I am currently somewhat focused on America’s huge trade imbalance with China.

It is a big topic, which the GOP won’t talk about.

I believe we must. Strongly believe it. This is why I post about it quite a bit.

The GOP is only two and a half years now, from a critical election for President.

We are currently discussing whether we need to fight a virtual political civil war first, just to establish who we will support.

But Chinese trade is a huge topic. We are currently LOSING, and the GOP isn’t on the side of the American public on this very important topic.

That is the topic of this tread.

Not specifically world trade, but certainly the GOP-e, the GOP and the Tea Party are completely pertinent.

America we have sold off American businesses now for more than an entire generation.

It is time to bring back American manufacturing.

This is my point. Is so doing, we will also win more elections...

Do you remember when the big fear was Japan was rolling over us because they were having success with their command and control economy? It was a real fear, and there was a lot of handwringing over it at the time.

That was much different.

China has five times’ America’s population.

Five times.

The concept’s the same. The same. I’m finished discussing the US trade imbalance with you, because it’s O/T.

Now let’s get back to discussing why we can’t get anywhere until we get rid of the RINOs who stand between us and victory over the Rats.

I thought the topic was “Why conservatives are in trouble”.

Just saying. It is not O/T.

It is the reason.

Maybe he is saying that there is no difference between GOPe and Conservative. They both want to export jobs with trade deficits.

However I agree with you, Conservatives would multiply if they campaign for MADE IN USA.
