Brushing the Bobo Cat (good way to get rid of fleas)
ping
My cat thinks the vacuum is a beast from Hell sent to consume her. I get the vacuum out and she does the Cheshire cat thing, only without leaving a grin behind. (She throws out a cat-shaped chaff of fur that remains in her shape long enough for her to make good her escape.)
Every cat I’ve ever had ran and hid from the vacuum cleaner. Only way I could vacuum them would be to give them downers.
Cats and vacs.I think because the cats hearing is so good there are frequencies from the motor we cat hear and drills there brain..
Mine stays in the room until it gets close.
No tellen
We’ve only had one cat years ago among many who would run to the vacumn and flop down to be vacumned. She loved it. All the others since pretty much run from it as soon as it is turned on.
What purpose do those hideous things even serve?
It is virtually impossible to get rid of them.
Adorable!
Cats or vacuums?
You'll find a good quantity of them around the hindquarters and around and below the neck.
I had a white deaf cat once who ran to ride on the vacuum the minute it was turned on. Guess he could feel the vibrations on the floor (this was an upright vac) and figured it would be a relaxing ride. All my other cats have always gone to ground the minute they see or hear a loud machine of any kind.
Really like that gif.
Run! Run for your lives!!!!
Most of our cats do/did not like the vacuum cleaner at all.
However, the one in the video is relatively quiet and low pitched.
My domestic shorthair, Andy, absolutely insists upon getting combed every day on his special table. Amazing how much fur comes out; he's a regular fur factory.
Fleas.
I have three cats and love them more than anything. :)
My furbabies hate the vacuum! They run and hide.
Also if you let the hair build up on the flea comb you catch quite a few eggs.
I grab the fleas off of the comb and dash them into a bowl of water. You can usually tell how bad they're biting by the amount of blood that's released in the bowl.
Almost lost one of my tuxedo's a few years back from a flea infestation. I took close to a 100 off her. Then I shampooed her with a flea soap and when I rinsed her off the water coming off her was pink. That's how bad she was being bitten.
In a few days she went from being listless to running and jumping all over the place, not to mention eating anything I put in front of her.
