Stolid
Adjective
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Stolid: a term to describe the state of a “firm” stool sample.
HUH!
I was taught to be stolid when sizing up an adversary who doesn’t know that is not my “real” personality-it has paid off many times...
If Obama practiced being stolid
Instead of going off on a tear
Maybe he’d actually make sense,
And he’d certainly be more aware
Of all that stifled laughter
From every leader who hears
The words that point to having
A blank space between the ears
As he puts his mouth in gear
Before he engages his brain-
Every leader either laughs
Or decides that he is insane...
A+++ Obama tries that on Republicans and they cave, but on the world stage he ends up a chump. Putin does it and nails it. Kind of comical.
People around here are getting stupider and more paranoid.
