It is being reported that the Manufacturer of all human beings is in the process of recalling all active units. The Maker of this product has determined that regardless of make or year, the product needs to have it's main energy source retrofitted, due to a serious defect in the unit's primary component.

When asked exactly what the problem with the primary component was, the Manufacturer informed us that the heart of the problem is the heart, and that He has sent out representatives to help with the recall.

The Manufacturer is also informing us that the defect which was in the original prototypes, code named Adam and Eve, has subsequently been duplicated in all units. This defect has been technically termed "Subsequential Internal Nonmorality," or more commonly known as S.I.N.

The representatives of the Maker, are warning the public that any or all of the following symptoms could occur. A loss of direction, foul vocal emissions, amnesia of origin, lack of peace, absence of joy, fearfulness, idolatry, moments of selfish and or violent behavior followed by spells of depression or confusion in the mental component that can lead to rebellion against it's Maker.

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing a service that will allow for a factory authorized repair, free of charge.

To insure this repair is done properly and complete, the Manufacturer is sending the only person who can do the repairs, His Son Jesus. Per His Fathers instructions, this repair Technician will perform a technique known in the business as Salvation. Now because the cost of repair is so staggering, the Technician will generously offer to bear the entire burden of the cost for

There is a recall going on with the human race. God is in essence recalling every model that is active and wishes for it (us) to get retrofitted with a new heart, one of flesh to replace the heart of stone we are born with.

Cute premise, but God is God because he does not make mistakes and does not do rewrites.

Even a perfect device if used improperly will break or cause injury or death to the user. Is it GMs fault that people crash their cars?

I was responding to the words of the article: “The Manufacturer is also informing us that the defect ... was in the original prototypes.”

It was, Adam and eve sinned thus spiraling the entire human race into sin. We are born in sin imputed upon us from Adam. The inevitable chance God took for giving us Freewill.

I guess the word we are agree on or not in the author’s proposition is the word, “defect.” If God gave Adam and Eve the ability and choice to exercise free will, did he consider free will an actual defect? The Bible suggests that the prototype humans had the capacity for curiosity and risky behavior, but that these features were not designed as error/flaw in God’s creations themselves.

Well, in our capacity to see the whole picture, it would be a defect, because it enabled us to fall in to sin.

However, from God's view it was not, because freewill enables Him to know that after this trial stage on earth is over those who will spend eternity in His presence will be doing so on our own choice.

So I guess it all depends uppon who's view we look at things. Now, I did write in the article that "The Manufacturer (God), who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect".

After all, we cannot impute blame on a blameless God, for that would be blasphemy.

Lets\'s say you give a baseball and a bat to your son for his birthday. He then goes out and breaks the neighbors window by hitting the ball through it. You, as a responsible father will go to the neighbor and pay for the window because your son has no money. However, you are not to blame, but you feel responsible for the action.

Just as God sent His Son to pay for our sin, you spend you money to pay for the broken window. Just as we still must pay, at least on earth, for our sins in some way, you would probably make your son do doing extra chores to learn a lesson.

In either case the one is paying for what another did because they gave them something they misused.

That is the best way I can maybe explain the way see it.

But God KNEW Adam and Eve would eat from the tree. God knows everything about everything. Since the beginning of what we call time, He has known what everyone would ever think or do.

Either that, or God is not Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent.

Knowing what would happen, and being responsible for it are two different things.

We rejected God when Adam and Eve took from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Since then we have been born in sin and under constant temptation to sin. However, God is not going to step in and stop us, because we have free will to chose between the good and evil that comes due to Adam and Eve partaking of the tree God told them not to.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. James 1:12-15

That’s a non answer. IMHO, yes I would be responsible, especially if put poison in front of him, regardless of any verbal warning I gave, and I’m not omniscient.

I don’t see that there’s any other conclusion from the Bible than that God created Adam and Eve TO eat from the tree.

Just think, if God had made Betty instead of Eve, maybe we wouldn’t have run into the conundrum known as sin.......just a thought.

He created them, man and woman, with a free will to do what ever they so chose to do. He told them NO or they would surely dies. However, they ignored His warning and ate the fruit any way. They died, and all humans since have died, which is a result of being separated from God.

God sent His son, who fulfilled the requirements of the law and died as the perfect sacrifice so that we can use His righteousness to be saved. All we need to do is repent and look to Him.

The first Adam sinned and with it came death and destruction into the universe. The second Adam, Jesus Christ, did not sin and thus gave us a way to be redeemed and live eternally.

Other than that I would say read His word the bible.

Recitation of the premises doesn’t further the understanding of whether they hang together or not.
