"Mitch McConnell strode out onto the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday morning, packing heat.
The Senate Minority Leader finds himself in an odd position at CPAC...."

Agreed.
I would have rather he just stood up to Harry Reid at every opportunity.
In HIS position, the word “NO” - and the balls to back it up - is more powerful than a rifle.
Old turkey neck shouldn’t try to act tough. It just doesn’t work for some people.
Yep ... or a Maryland made Beretta 92 with standard (15rd) magazine ... either would be a slap in the face to the national socialists in Annapolis.
And if there is any group of miscreants that need a slap in the face, it would be the national socialists on the left.
“McConnell brings Gun To CPAC”
He’ll need it.
Yes!
“...reinforcing the old tired line about the 2nd amendment being about MUSKETS!...”
Good point. Hence, the AR15.
SHOW the other side we mean what we say, and say what we mean.
But... sigh... we get this.
As is, it was a cheap and meaningless gesture ... and has earned him ridicule from the people he was probably trying to impress.
Let Joe Manchin come to CPAC and change his party affiliation, and I’ll believe him.
“...They Want You Dead....”
“Wanting” it and “making it happen” are, unfortunately for THEM, two different things.
Like Mike Vanderbeough over at Sipsey Street Irregulars says... Don’t poke a wolverine in the balls if you don’t want your arm ripped off.
They are working up the courage to - or, rather, ready to have someone else - poke the wolverine.
“Old Turkey Neck” - that’s good!
Old Turkey Neck’s time to be tough is when he’s supposed to be going eyeball to eyeball with Old Prune Face Reid.
And he failed that.
A muzzleloader? Color me unimpressed. Even Piers Morgan said those were Okie Dokie.
He’s probably with the elites that think the 2nd amendment means we can have all the 18th century gun tech we want.
He seems to think we’re still living in 1775.
Well, mentality-wise, we SHOULD be...
Well...
The “nice guy” side of me says, ok, it WAS a nice gesture.
The realist side of me says it’s empty, hollow, and nothing more than a ploy to fool the “dumb gun owners” back into the fold.
Fail.
I am surprised he can actually lift something like that. He looks more decrepit than my 90y grandfather did just before he passed on.
Doesn’t he have any grandchildren to enjoy?
Its virtually the same technology as the Militarys standard issue rifle and its in Common use VERY Common use ..
Which is the reason the National Socialist Gun grabbers want to take it from us.
Desperate
It ain't holding this one.

Pathetic attempt at pandering...
