BitPay Dumps Texas Gun Retailer

Central Texas Gunworks LLC found itself without a Bitcoin payment processor last week as Atlanta based BitPay abruptly dropped the firearms seller from service. According to the companys owner, US Army veteran Michael Cargill, the move came without warning or explanation. This, in spite of the fact that his company is a duly licensed firearms dealer engaged in lawful commerce in a gun-friendly state. As a result, Central Texas Gunworks had no choice but to change processors. With only a few days notice, the team from CoinVoice reportedly worked overtime to implement online Bitcoin payment capability for the retailer.

So I have to ask. Is Bitpay racist and homophobic? Or are they cowards that bent to political pressure? If this is true they are as dead to me as Apple is!

That must be your quaint simple manner.
This has nothing to do with Bitcoin. It is an issue with the payment processor Bitpay.
Bitcoin is here to stay so you had better get the Vaseline ready.

As far as I know. Bitpay is the biggest provider but they’re like Paypal, they suck. Also avoid BTC stateside processors like Coinbase.

hold on... are they refusing service to customers because they do not agree with their lifestyle, religion, or political beliefs?
gee... last i heard, businesses are forced to provided services to anyone that asks under penalty of law
someone needs to bring a suit against them and anyone else that tries the same move
