I’ve had the leg cramps from hell, too-usually after along workday on my feet. I found a natural product called cramp911 that works very well-you roll it on the cramping muscle, and it stops it pretty fast, and lasts for a few hours.

I kind of like tonic water myself-and I use a potassium supplement because I don’t like bananas, either-something about the texture. I made sure last year that I buy a calcium supplement with magnesium-vitamin D, too-and along with the potassium, I seldom have the leg cramps any more ...

Too bad we don’t have someone with the $$$ to bankroll us-I could provide the cast members and locations, you could be the legal adviser-I’ll bet there is money to be made there...

That’s why the Brits invented the gin and tonic. The gin helps kill the horrible taste of the tonic and vice versa.

Any word from the boy today?

Yesterday’s expected snow ended up being a bust. Not that I am complaining. There was not even enough to call it a coating. Just a bit of snow on the grass.

Back to the 50s tomorrow.

Gin and tonic was one of my first husband’s favorite drinks-he liked a dry martini made with Blue Sapphire once in awhile, too. The taste of gin gags me-I like juniper berries as an ingredient of a sauce for venison or pork that I make—not to drink...

Yes haven’t heard much other than it went well bc he’s en route to airport and downloaded the airlines app and saw that his flight tonight was canceled so now he’s scrambling to see if he can get to the train station and get the 8 pm train that gets in at 11 pm Same time as the flight was due in. This is a tough intro to business travel first time out if the gate.

In The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, every species in the galaxy has some drink whose name is a variation on Gin and Tonic, which has confused etymologists for centuries. The drinks are all completely different; it’s just the name that is identical. Variations listed include jynnan tonnyx, jinond-o-nicks, chinanto nigs, txjin-anthonty-ks, and of course, the Terran gin and tonic.

It’s the spouse’s favorite drink too.

I don’t remember that, but it’s been a long time since I read those books.
