i’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of my prayer request that xsboy gets on his 6 am flight in Ft Lauderdale tomorrow and gets to his interview in NJ and does a decent job of it. Won’t ask for prayer that he actually get the job because i figure God knows what job he should have and will take care of that part of it.
He’s flying in the morning of the interview?

yes, 6 am flight to Newark, they are sending a car to retrieve him and his interviews are 12:30- 5pm.
good grief that is terrible! far more going on there than my friends from home surmised... i have to send this to Paula.
We’re supposed to have snow till midnight or so. He may have weather in Newark tomorrow morning.
Of course, the interviewers can’t hold that against him.
There was a sidebar in the printed paper showing which accounts he had stolen from.
He stole cash from a safe that the choir was saving for robes and music.
Then he stole from an account set up to reimburse the choir after their funds were found missing.
That’s a lot of chutzpah.
i checked weatherchannel.com and they had no snow or precip listed only low temps and high winds. Now SYRACUSE is getting a foot of snow or so today and tonight from what i saw, but he won’t be going back there until Monday AM. he did not bring a COAT with him, so will be in a suit alone tomorrow for 27 degs or whatever and colder with windchill. His response to my questions: “i will be fine”. i love that.
They have been going to the beach each day and last night went to the FL panthers game and he said that was fun.
it is breathtaking how he was milking them absolutely dry! no wonder the parishioners were waiting for this! Paula’s impression from the friends from home was that he just was overly generous and was giving $ away and then was stealing to cover it. um, not quite. this was very pervasive and focused. and the tour biz, are they even allowed to have a personal biz like that??
was weird to see his pic. it’s been literally probably 40 years or more since i laid eyes on him, i think we were jr high or young HSers at the time he was there, and he was a young priest, and focused on the youth. i never did youth group stuff so i never knew him personally. also sent it to my brother bc he will remember him also.
I certainly do.
