The survivor of a serious motorbike crash has made surgical history after his entire face was rebuilt using 3D printed parts.
Stephen Power is thought to be one of the first trauma patients in the world to have 3D printing technology used at every stage of the medical procedure to restore his looks.
Doctors at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, had to break his cheekbones again before rebuilding his face in an eight-hour operation.

Thank you! He has done amazingly well, and there is no doubt God was at work in keeping him alive and in healing him. We continue to see progress each week. The things they are doing with titanium are pretty cool, but nothing like what God can do. :)
Our son has a great sense of humor about his metal. :)

Every time I see something like this, it makes me glad I sold my motorbike.Good decision. I have never understood by people ride those damn things. No thrill is worth being presented with the possibility of being mangled or killed. And with motorcycles, if you have a wreck there is nothing around you to protect you. You are completely exposed. I got on one when I was 15 and I swore during the ride that if I was permitted to get off that thing I would never get on another; and I never did.
