Video at link.
Almost all the mortgages bought out the same day: 12/25/2009.

What is the story, for those of us who cannot view videos at this time? Thank you.
Reading the comments makes FR conspiracy theorists seem mundane, LOL.
Clearly there was a computer error and they were probably going through a reassessment.
I second that...
Respectfully, the narrator on Youtube can’t pronounce ‘Newtown’ correctly? Makes me question the rest of his research. Thank you.
So the attack was to lower house prices?
Then again, it is typical for liberals to send people to war in vietnam or on poverty and then spit in the face of veterans and never enlisting in any of these, running away from neighborhoods they destroy.
Nothing new. Same thing happened with Irene in 2011
There is no story.
This guy is looking at an online database of the towns assessor. The data base shows a common date, 12/25/09 and the amount of $0 for the last “sale” field.
Having worked with databases for years, you often need to put in a default date when building the records. What dates would you use as a “dummy” date? Usually Christmas or New Years. Christmas works because it usually stands out in your mind when it’s written. When you see it, you stop and pay attention.
My guess is this web site used a data dump from a computerized system. Where there are homes that haven’t sold since the start of the use of this data base, the dummy date was dropped in there.
This is a video from someone with way too much time on their hands.
I just checked. It still shows the same things.
I smell a communist fish in this story.
Obviously the author is requesting some kind of protection, but not against traitors and shake down artists like Lanza, but into some sort of conspiracy of money... hmm...
Sandy Hook Truther stuff?
The whole town was BOUGHT OFF. Paid to keep silent.
(sarc tag or no sarc tag. You decide)
“Sandy Hook Truther stuff?”
Added to the Sandy Hook file...
and too little gray matter upstairs.
This occurs when there is a nominal transfer (change of name on the deed). It us possible that the City of Sandy Hook installed a new assessor computer program in 2009 and this is the way existing records were recorded in the new system.
Your explanation makes way too much sense, thus it must be rejected by most, LOL.
It might be interesting to cross-reference these homes with the “dead children’s” home addresses.
Also—investigate those homes that WERE NOT paid off. What’s with them?
Simple database default value. My house is in that area. And I know Jim Shortt. If his house was paid off I’m sure I would know.
Sandy Hook Truthers are particularly repugnant people.
Look up '36 Yogananda Street'. That is (was) Nancy Lanza's house. Shows two entries, first 02/08/2011 (0), then 02/01/2013 (0)..
I think the database is incomplete, however.
The other thing that’s weird is that in some cases the volume and page numbers of the 0 entries are duplicate entries of others. A mortgage release or other transaction can’t have the same volume and page number of the preceding transaction. Doesn’t make any sense.
My house actually has a zero entry on it. I can tell you I pay my mortgage every month.
You’re ruining the whole conspiracy, LOL
A video-only essay tends to be the province of the crank. If he wrote out his tale, I might read the first few paragraphs to see if he was making a decent case - but video? I have no time for video.
I listen to some podcast interviews of Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists on a road trip this weekend. There was no smoking gun (bad pun) but when all the quirks and questions are put together there is a massive cluster fark over how it was handled. The questions of secrecy and why it’s blacked out and hush hushed by the feds brings up more questions.
Did someone say conspiracy?
I read a Reuters story over the weekend about the Malaysia plane and somehow glanced at the comments. Once I started, it was like a train wreck I couldn’t turn away. There were about 270 comments, most of which made FR conspiracy theorists seem mainstream.
My sister lives in Sandy Hook and nobody paid off her mortgage.
Maybe because she isn’t wearing the proper brand of tin foil?
I sent an email to the Tax Assessor to see what she had to say. I’ll post her reply.
