Nobody should ever suggest that leadership and assertiveness are mutually exclusive; all sensible people must agree that in order to lead, someone must give directions, and when the time comes for it, that those directions must be given strongly. A great leader, like Germanicus Caesar, knows that at certain times even mutinous soldiers must be courted, and that at others they must be executed, and that only wisdom can discern which is more appropriate.
But I would never agree with Cheryl Sandberg that we should teach all bossy little girls not that theyre bossy, but that theyre natural leaders. Ive heard plenty of women say that bossy women make great leaders; all of them have made their fellow women miserable.
Theres really only one reason why someone should be leading, at any given point, and that is because he or, let us say, she is going somewhere better than where we are leaving. It matters little if someone knows how to command if shes leading us into poverty, or misery, or off a cliff and into the ocean. John Locke wasn't the man who discovered the value of kings; Solomon (and, I am certain, many gone before him) can be found saying that good kings make the people rejoice, and bad kings make them mourn, and that the quality of a leader one might say, the purpose of a leader is determined not by himself, but by the effect he has upon his people....
...And if a woman wants to be a great leader, let her learn to be a great person by giving good orders first to herself and speaking with grace. Then, if she can prove herself worthy of command, let her command for the good of others....

Hillary Clinton is a bossy commie b*^ch.
I heard the Girl Scouts couldnt wait to jump on this leftist bandwagon
"Really? Why not?"
"BECAUSE I SAY SO!"
I'm sorry for anyone who takes this sort of Orwellian double-think seriously.
that we should teach all bossy little girls not that theyre bossy, but that theyre natural leaders.
Regardless of an individual’s sex, teaching children that is a pretty sure way to make many of them maniacal.
my 7 year old daughter is bossy, and sometimes it’s a good thing, and sometimes we’ve got to tell her to knock it off.
Rush had it right when he referred to the NOW fems as the NAGs.
The vast, vast majority of the time, a good leader does not “boss” people around
Here’s why they are doing this.
This is a second prong attack dealing with the liberal’s trumped up phony war on women.
They are telegraphing that WOMEN are now going to be THE BOSS.
It’s complete fantasy and crap, but this is what they are trying to project.
Women are far more often followers and all studies show, more easily manipulated than men. They’re being used six ways to Sunday by the liberals.
To balkanize men and women.
While being told and repeating THEY are in control, they are actually controlled by their liberal puppet masters who are feeding them this garbage.
to trivialize, disregard, and rationalize away any criticism of women as simply groundless and repeating the mindless mantra “dont call me bossy!”
secondarily this is being done to help hillary run in 2016.
And those are her good features
A real leader doesn't need to. People recognize that the job gets done better and faster if they do what the leader says, and so follow that leader.
Somebody who demands that people do what she says, BECAUSE she says so, and without any demonstration of competence to lead, is called "bossy".
This all sounds like a Peanuts cartoon with the ever aggressive and controlling Lucy. Can’t you see her with her clenched threatening fist as she say.” “BECAUSE I SAY SO!”?
maybe not secondarily but primarily for Hillary - It also depends on the type of work place where women get promoted over far more qualified and experienced men. It’s usually in govt. jobs and hospitals, but more and more in private industry. I have seen it for myself in a hospital I worked at - shocked to say the least that someone with absolutely nothing but her gonads and skin color to merit the CEO position. She was not a leader, but she was a good tool for those who were positioning the ultimate sale of the hospital.

Is this really a crisis in America today? Are teenage girls really afraid of being called bossy????
Just watched the video - the thing that Bachert failed to mention in his observation about the Jewish feminists is they are/were all Leftie/socialists and more than a few were avowed communists. It was their political agenda that was the driving force, not their non-observant religion. They could still throw down the ‘anti-semite’ card at their critics, just like the race hustlers do.
A rich lefty backing Hillary Clinton decides women/girls are being called bossy sends out pr to the news media and suddenly what she says is taken a truth??
What a distraction. Bossy is not a word I’ve heard its the other b word and c word...Sarah Palin is more often the target and called so by leftists.
This is so phoney!
