The large cat that attacked a baby and trapped an Oregon family in a bedroom touched off an Internet uproar that worries Jackson Galaxy, star of Animal Planet's "My Cat from Hell."
Cats don't become ferocious felines that turn on their families for no reason, says the cat behavior expert, who is heading to Portland soon to work with the 4-year-old part-Himalayan pet named Lux. Galaxy will film the visit for his show's fifth season, which

I triple dog dare Galaxy to pull the cat’s tail. :)
I’m assuming they had the cat before they had the baby, so maybe this is a territorial thing with the cat?
“I triple dog dare Galaxy to pull the cats tail. :)”
TRIPLE dog dare right off the bat? Breach of etiquette, you know.
That cat has been hurt by someone in the past..
“attacked a baby and trapped an Oregon family”
conveniently omits mentioning that the baby pulled the cat’s tail and the man kicked the cat hard. Also, suddenly “scratched” becomes “attacked” and “the people hid behind a closed door” becomes “trapped a family.”
The cat is thinking “humans from hell! What s$$holes! They’re even going on TV!”
That is not a happy cat.
The fact that the guy chose his cat over his child is disturbing.
Yep. Such ‘cats from heck’ are pretty reliably cats that have been abused.
Cat needs to go to a different home
Animal behavior experts don’t change the behavior of the animals, they change the behavior of the owners. Kid pulls cats tail, cat reacts, owner kicks cat...who do you think really has a problem with their behavior?
Theyre even going on TV!

Perhaps the goal all along....
One of the sweetest cats I ever had was one that my kids were permitted to steal. Their father decided that it was a good thing to let them make off with it because the boy who owned it showed off how he liked to carry it around by its tail!
Ouch!
I think Jackson Galaxy should come to the conclusion this cat has no business being under their roof. It needs a new home.
