Some of you may know a Birkenstock and tie dye wearing liberal buffoon in your family that is part of the "Buy Local" environmental movement. I have no problem with this movement itself, but there seems to be a lot of the people in it who are "neo-liberals". The ones that annoy me most are the "Buy Local, Think Global" morons.
My question to them is this:
I want to buy Local in all things, so how do I buy local concerning government? Instead of sending all our money via taxes to the giant "Monopoly on power Wal-Mart government" that is called the federal government. Shouldn't we spending that amount of money on "Local Small Government" like State government, County and City government?
Maybe during Easter we should ask these people why they love the Wal-Mart model so damned much when it comes the to taxes paid earlier this week? You know the ultimate monopoly on power that muscles out the local governments in a desire for power....
Maybe we can blow a few liberal minds like an Easter Egg that has been stuck in a microwave.
But, don’t you know, if government is local, then, when they start redistributing wealth, the evil rich will be able to just move away and won’t pay their fair share.
