ARE HISPANICS NATURAL DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICANS?

ARE HISPANICS NATURAL DEMOCRATS OR REPUBLICANS?
OR SHOULD WE ASK,
ARE HISPANICS MORE LIBERAL OR CONSERVATIVE?

I report, you decide..

Broadly speaking, the Hispanic society, regardless of nationality;
In the most generous interpretation, which political identity better fits the natural characteristics of the Hispanic community?

I believe if you ask the average Hispanic, legal or illegally in our country, the following questions, the answers would be astonishingly different than the average American would attribute to the media's interpretation of this community;
    1. A vigorous background check to insure they have honestly answered the questions, law abiding background, physically and mentally healthy, financially capable..
    2. A legally responsible citizen sponsor, or guaranteed employment..
    3. A agreed upon, predetermined, time limited, periodic reporting for compliance..
    4. A prohibition against any felonious illegal activity for a minimum of 10 years..
I believe the main reason there is a flaunting of our immigration laws, are our immigration laws themselves, and the proliferation of rules that have created a cottage industry of regulations that maintain  the status quo, on both sides of the boarder.. There should be a complete review of the worker program, and temporary and permanent status, with levels of time and costs..

I am convinced they would apply and complete these requirements if they were more fairly unburdened with profit motives of the current methods, and they would vote in favor of their inherent beliefs, which is unquestionably Conservative..

The Hispanics that vote republican in large numbers, are the Protestant Hispanics.

I hope, by your post that the jury is still out on many of these folks.. Putting out a positive message to correct the stupid amnesty BS, with reasonable changes can change the outcome of their voting pattern..

A majority of legal Hispanics, at least until the third generation (and I don’t believe they have polled further) are on some form of welfare—and of course they all qualify for affirmative action.

Also, I’d like to see those polls and how they are worded to believe them.

What I’ve seen is results that look more like this:

So you’re saying just let them all in legally and that way they’ll be happy with us and they won’t have to break the law?

Thats what you got out of everything I have written? I give up with you, it must be what you ate tonight, there is no other explanation.. Thanks.. LOL

Agree with what, that the Catholic Hispanics are the leftists, and the Protestant Hispanics are close to a 50/50 vote?

Alas, I don't have a link for you. But both were reported here on FreeRepublic within the past year, I believe. And both produced very consistent results.

You are delusional. I have provided factual evidence about Hispanic/Latino political beliefs, welfare use, etc. They are natural Democrats. And we bring in 1.2 million legal immigrants a year, two-thirds of them Hispanic and 87% minorities as classified by the USG. Essentially we are importing hundreds of thousands of future Dem voters every year.

In 2060 we will, as a nation, have the current demographics that CA has today. Do you see CA turning red any time soon? NV, CO, FL, and a number of other states are going from purple to blue mainly due to immigration. We have brought in over 25 million LEGAL IMMIGRANTS over the past 20 years.

In 1970 one in 21 was foreign-born in this country; today it is one in 8, the highest in 90 years; and within a decade it will be one in 7, the highest in our history. Such massive demographic changes have electoral consequences.

I’ll be here in 2060 to dispute or agree with those projections, and see what it means.. I started exercising yesterday.. LOL

Figure 4.2 should be required reading for Republican politicians.

By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities as classified by the USG. Every cohort that turns 18 is more Dem than the previous one.

As a group, legal Hispanics might vote majority Democrat -- but they're not supporters of "amnesty".

Then, if as you say, they are against Amnesty, and as Carlos and Juan McCain are wont to say, they are the Children of God, that is against Abortion, against Gay Marriage.

Please inform all of us why the vote 60%+ for the Godless Democrats?

One aspect of Latino culture not always recognized or ignored in American politics, is their root cultures generally evolved without the elements of our Constitution or Bill of Rights.

Politically, even conservative Latinos, generally don’t intuitively think with an assumption of rights as God given bases for their political authority.

Instead, they do have a tendency to obey the authority of whoever is in power. That tendency can sometimes extend beyond Constitutional rights regarding their obedience.

WRT Obama, many take the stance that since he won the election, whatever he and his party want, they are to obey.

So, if their religion has any value to them, why do they keep voting for the Godless Democrats?

They are naturally tribal — that is, they naturally behave tribally. Nobody has to give them special privileges; but neither must anybody ever disrespect them for asking for them. Republicans APPEAR to disrespect them for asking for special favors: bilingual public signs and documents, amnesty, a pass on using terms and organizations like “La Raza”.
Democrats really cater to tribal behavior and outlook. Thus it can truly be said, the dems are trying to carve America up into little Balkan states. It’s immoral, but hey, it works.
So, hispanics are naturally tribal, which makes them good democrats.

Agreed. They should also read Phyllis Schlafly's Report on how legal immigration will doom a conservative GOP

Unfortunately, too many in the GOP leadership are laboring under "there's a pony in there somewhere" belief when it comes to converting Hispanics and immigrants into Reps. It ain't gonna happen.
