I, like most conservative thinking people reject any and virtually all attempts to "Tell Me" what to think.
We tend to have a need to find out things in a different way. Experience, and a deeper understanding of human nature then that what the "books" have to say.
Those that trust the books of the elitist class have sold themselves into its slavery. The slavery of being told, the slavery of authority. They have bought into the uncertainty contained in what it means to be alive.
Lost is an understatement.
The lost souls of indifference are exploited by every and all. Because they can.
Debating with my ex-girlfriend on any number of topics I found myself asking her "What do you own" ?

No, I’m frustrated with people that “refuse” to think for themselves.
I mad that the MSM, exploits this.
I’m frustrated that whether you are on the right or left, what is being pushed to you is a sound bite that has no context.
It’s as if they think they can form public opinion in a series of 30 second sound bites.
I object to that.
Both from the right and left.
It leaves most thinking individuals to fight for a reality that they, the media, doesn’t seem to have time for.
Why bother anymore.
It’s all become a PR war. It’s a joke.
No wonder that the youth are so cynical.
Everybody is, or should be cynical.
Now, this is the rub.
The left has exploited this mindset soo much better than us Conservatives.
The left has convinced virtually everybody that the Tea Party is racist, that republicans are racist etc etc etc...
It is a negative feedback loop that liberals blindly continue to feed into.
Books ?
Liberal books, written by wanna be professors in a system that requires they get published ?
So they can keep their job ?

Sometimes it helps to get away from the news and politics and world events because those things can be more sad than happy.
The end of the world will inevitably come for each of us when we die.
In the meantime, instead of waiting, it might make things more bearable if you can find some things to laugh about.
I like watching funny movies (like The Three Amigos) or reading funny things like anything by P.G. Wodehouse.
