This is a great way to hard-boil an egg. Imagine the surprise of somebody else peeling an egg to see yellow on the outside!

Also, you can do this with panty hose instead of a long-sleeve t-shirt (make sure the woman is removed first).

Anyone tried the t-shirt or panty hose method?

I tried panty hose and it didn’t work for me.

But all that was wanted was a cheese omelet. Hard boiled eggs....blech!! Just to smell them cooking will gag you....tuna salad, potato salad...macaroni salad none of these is made any better by adding hard boiled eggs. However, the shells from the hb eggs do make for DIY mosaic arts and crafts pieces.

You're overcooking/using old eggs them if they smell during cooking.

Put desired qty of FRESH (check the date on carton) eggs in pan, add COLD water to cover, bring to boil and remove from heat. Wait 5 mins then run COLD water into pan until it is COLD in pan, let sit 30 mins. Peel immediately.
