This is not going to end well for the NBA. I think Sterling is a major asshole but one that is not into giving up. This is going to drag on for years.

To be blunt, Silver pegs my GAYDAR. I have no idea why, but something about him and his history seems off. I think a bunch of the owners know for sure. While he may have done a great job under Stern, he’s not a man you want as THE executive. The Silver vs. Sterling episode has all the hallmarks of a train wreck.

IMO, Sterling should have been fined a million dollars and banned for a significant period of time. Going after the franchise was a mistake. Silver has exposed the NBA to a huge amount of risk. At his age Sterling doesn’t have anything to lose. The fact he diddled the DOJ for as long as he did and got off with the payment of a few million says a lot about the man.

My guess is he’s going to mop the floor with Silver and the NBA after all is said and done. I have no patience with PC BS. I wish Sterling all the luck in the world.

About the only thing you can say about Stirling is he's stuck to his guns. Bundy says something stupid and then spends the next couple of days compounding his mistake with "what I really meant was" interviews. Sterling says something stupid and he doesn't deny it or modify it or try to explain it away. You have to admire him for that, at least a little.

I don't know... There were very good reasons Tokowitz WAS throwing money at letfwing causes. For one, he was court ordered to. As a result of his losing discrimination lawsuits.

Second, he was a willing tool of the shakedown artists like Al and Jesse. He gave black organizations mucho dinero and they overlooked his bigotry. Hell the NAACP was just about to award him his SECOND Lifetime Acheivement Award when his whore leaked those tapes.

Tokowitz reminds me of Sandusky. EVERYONE in collegiate football knew Jerry was boinking boys - just like in his own circle everyone knew Tokowitz was a bigot. But TSHTF and now its all over.
