Boys hurt by razor blades planted in park
SAN DIEGO – More than a dozen razors were discovered planted in the grass at a children’s playground near Mission Bay after two brothers slashed their feet Wednesday, police said.
San Diego police received a call from a parent around 7 p.m. stating that her sons, ages 7 and 15, were cut by razors at Bonita Cove in Mission Bay Drive. One boy suffered minor injures that required stitches.
“Paramedics were able to pull the razor blade out [of the 7-year-old boy’s foot],” SDPD Lt. Paul Phillips said.
Investigators using metal detectors found 20 razor blades “planted” in the children’s play area , Officer Dino Delimitros said.

I ran across broken bottles under the sand on a Maryland (maybe Delaware) beach, deliberately set. There are evil people.
I had googled the name of the IL park and found it on Snopes via email. True. I wish it weren't. It's so evil and viscious.
Maybe part of the reason for the copykat factor is that police have been notifying other places in the country to be on the lookout. Don't think the IL perps or any of them have been caught.
They must come in packages of 12 as that seems to be what they are finding. Makes me sick someone would do that to little kids. Snopes has a photo of one little kid's bloody hand and how they were affixed to what I would call an updated version of hand over hand bars.
As sad as it is, this doesn’t surprise me. Every night when I watch my local news, it seems it’s one child murder story after another. It wasn’t always this way.
America has become very dark and twisted. The Bible says something about the love of many growing cold in the last days.
