I saw what I assumed was a Japanese fashion label on a shirt once that was amusing. Fancy Pimple. I think they just like the way the letters look and possibly the way the words sound, with no clue what they mean.

Who know that so many languages could get food names confused with the word “rape?” The Canadians can as well. Saskatchewan was known for years as the "Land of Rape and Honey", rape being 'rapeseed' aka mustard.

Ayds dieting candy was made with benzocaine. You were supposed to eat it with a hot drink, presumably to melt it in your tummy where the benzocaine would then numb your hunger pangs. It really fell out of favor when the "gay cancer" that caused wasting was renamed "AIDS."
"Rape" is another spelling of broccoli "rabe." Sure looks like broccoli rabe in the picture.
