Two years on the force, and already has killed two people. Lots of officers never fire their firearm at a suspect their whole career.

A 93 YO woman probably can’t see worth squat and grabs a gun because ANYONE is a threat to her.

Whatta clown criminal. Couldn’t even figure out how to disarm Granny.

Or didn’t want to.

I’ll venture granny’s gun wasn’t loaded.

But we’ll never know.

I have an aquaintance from high school who joined a police force around 8 years ago. He has already killed two people “in the line of duty.” Not a single person who knows him is surprised by this. I have no doubt there are plenty of cops who want to kill people and our “anything to get home” police forces provide them the perfect opportunity.

He takes protecting himself from potential danger very seriously.

The important thing is that the officers got home safely to their families.

It really does not matter if anybody who doesn't belong to the union gets home safely to their families.

snip
News 3 has learned the person who has called 911 is Pearlie Golden's nephew. A few days ago,
the Texas Department of Public Safety refused to renew her driver’s license. The nephew was
trying to take her keys away. Golden got upset, grabbed her gun and threatened him.

When Officer Stephen Stem arrived, he asked Golden to “put down the weapon and then
ultimately fir(ed) his own sidearm, wounding Miss Golden.”

This is the second time Stem has been involved in a deadly shooting
since July 22, 2012 when he was employed.

The rule I learned is that you treat a gun as though it is always loaded.

She may have confused the cops with a death panel. Either way, they’d have given her the gun.

I used to be a great supporter of the cops. Not any more. I think the vast majority want to kill people. They are doing it, and they are getting away with it, and it will get much worse before it gets better.

I’m sure the police that investigate each other will find him innocent of any wrongdoing. He will be on the force to shoot someone next year.

Just wondering how many of these cops grew up playing video games with lots of killing.

Yeah, I thought about that after I pressed the “Post” button.

No way to know if Granny’s gun was loaded or if she were capable of squeezing one off.

But emptying a clip into her is a bit much, no?

And couldn’t some other negotiating techniques have been tried before blowing her full of holes?
