Netflix has Pin Up Girl on DVD.
Crowther: But the miserable report this morning is that the Roxys new Technicolored film [Pin Up Girl] is a spiritless blob of a musical, and a desecration of a most inviting theme.
Homer and Mrs. Homer agree. This ones a stinker. We cant speak for the other two features on the bill

Interesting item top right, about the production of “Dream With Music,” starring Vera Zorina. I’d seen her in several credits recently, so I looked her up. She was a young ballet prodigy from Sweden (changed her name when she was with Ballet Russe), and was married to George Ballanchine for a while.
According to IBDB, “Dream With Music” ran for less than a month.

Has a few memorable songs in it. Would love to have speaking gif of “I don’t want a man, I want you” to display.

Homer; I’ve been reading your postings for quite awhile here on FR and appreciate them. I enjoy these old films when im able to view them on TV. Reading original source material that
you post and link to provides us with context of the times instead of modern day bias. The same goes for the WW2 news items.
Thanks again

You would really have to stink as a director to mess up a movie about a pin-up girl starring Betty Grable, of million dollar legs fame.
