Nice cut-n-paste. There are a lot of other articles out there that detail how Silver has the authority to do levy the fine and suspend Sterling for life.
Have they actually read the contract?
Half court against themselves - shirts v. skins. (can you still type “skins” or does it just sound racist?)
What conduct? Use the “but for” paradigm. Had the tapes not been released, there would have been no harm to the league, and he had nothing to do with the release of the tapes.
But the tapes were released, Sterling has admitted it's his voice on them, and the impact to the league was undeniable in sponsor cancellations and player protests.
