Harrison Ford may be reprising yet another beloved film character he made famous decades ago. In late April it was confirmed the 71-year-old actor would pick up a Lightsaber once more to play Han Solo in the JJ Abrams-directed reworking of Star Wars. Then on Thursday Deadline reported Ford was being asked to step back into his role as Rick Deckard in the sequel to his 1982 science fiction thriller Blade Runner.

Supposedly Ridley Scott will direct this sequel. Harrison Ford is on record saying he hated being in Blade Runner.

OK, Indiana Jones, Han Solo and now Blade Runner. How long before “American Graffiti Again”? Tag line: Where were you in 2002?

Han Solo will “pick up a lightsaber again”?? Sheesh... research isn’t a high priority when writing these things, apparently; the only time Han ever wielded a lightsaber was to disembowel a dead taun-taun, I think...

"In late April it was confirmed the 71-year-old actor would pick up a Lightsaber once more to play Han Solo..."

The writer here apparently isn't familiar with Star Wars. Solo only wielded a lightsaber when he cut open the Tauntaun in The Empire Strikes Back. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't have touched a Jedi weapon.

It appears that movie conceptualizers and writers are lazy or this Gen has seriously limited original imagination.

True, he made it clear that he didn’t like lightsabers.

Bryant: I need ya, Deck. This is a bad one, the worst yet. I need the old blade runner, I need your magic.

Loved the movie, but thought the book was only ok. I would like a more complete back story. I wonder if Sean Young would be in it. Did she have a hard end date? Enquiring minds want to know.

Good catch. And yes, I think that is the only time. It means that at least technically, the author is correct. ;-)

“I just do eyes”.

“You’re a dedicated man.”

“He was the kind of cop that in the old days called black men N*****s.”

That last one is only in the original version with naration.

How long before “American Graffiti Again”?

That’s funny. How about THX 1138?

But American Graffiti....I wouldn’t discount that idea. Directed by Ron Howard, no doubt.

Rehash, Redo, Remake, Reboot.

Hollywood can't come up with any new ideas.

Where is the squeal to "Manos the Hands of Fate"?

Or a Jigglypuff Movie?!!?

I Demand a JigglyPuff Movie!!!!!

Batty: I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

More proof that Hollywood has run out of original ideas. Just do remakes after remakes.
