We get it: the last two days have been "miserably hot." You want your San Francisco fog back so you can cool off. Plus, you miss your hoodie.
But you know who isn't complaining -- this 33-year-old polar bear named Uulu who spent the last two days in this heat taking leisurely dips in her pool at the San Francisco Zoo. According to zookeepers, the elderly bear is living life like she's still a cub.
Ahhh, the bourgeois life of a zoo animal.
I thought Al Gore said a tiny rise in temperature murders all Polar Bears?
I think those were penguin-eating baby polar bears of the Antarctic. They’re pretty much wiped out.
Just got back last night from the Bay Area. Froze my a$$ on Friday at Pt. Reyes. If they call that hot, I’ve got some Texas summer coming to trade off.
She is smiling because she bought “carbon credit” futures.
It was about 100 where I am on Friday.
“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco”
Mark Twain
On Thursday it was low nineties in the Suisun Valley area, Friday - low 80’s, and Saturday and Sunday - low 70’s. Of course, at night it gets much cooler.
