The large woman took me for everything I was worth. She was part of a band of hippogrifters passing through town.

I think you mentioned pucks before, but not in so much detail. It’s pretty cool.

A little bit of rain on your wedding day is good luck. At least that’s what they say in climates where it rains. ;-)

We had a little shower on my wedding day after we had gotten to the church and before we left.

I have a picture of us next to my dad’s old T-bird and there are beads of water on the car, adding a nice effect.

Oh, yeah. If you ever wanted, like, a pool table or a boat or something, you better buy it now! ;-)

We got wrapped pucks as favors with writing on them at the wedding last fall. He had his hockey coach, who had become a reverend able to marry people in his spare time, do the service. He was the kiddo who has played hockey his whole life and interned with the NY Rangers and set up their youth program. I think they had a giant puck for the groom’s cake too.

we have no need of a grooms cake with the 4-5 tier cake with 3 different flavors and a cookie table, but we were thinking of a flyers themed cake, if we were going to do one.

i think cupcakes are a great idea, no cutting required! i am still amazed at the idea of multiple flavors in one cake. that was not available back in our wedding era, or if it was, we did not know about it. They decided on the choc mousse layer, a bavarian cream with fruit layer, and a tiramisu layer. With the choc mousse being the biggest layer or two. This place makes the best cake we have ever tasted anywhere. And it was cheaper than the other place they looked and tasted.

Hah!

And here i thought the ‘ellifIknow” was how the GrOPe establishment was going to justify their votes every day.....

Then again, Obama’s democratic press corpse is determined to link any and all peaceniks and flower children with Hillary’s “love everybody” campaign. Kind of a hippiegraft to her neck in case she falls again I suppose.

Election day down here in GA.

Do not confuse today’s word with that other mythical creature, half elephant, half rhinoceros: the elephino*

* a/k/a RINOphant – rhymes with sycophant, most of whom the former are.

And unlike these all-too-real political creatures, at least the mythical Hippogriff is not a hypocrite by nature…
