If Kaarma had called the police, the burglar wouldn't have had any legal recourse either.

He would have been convicted, jailed and then deported.

And Kaarma would be a free man to boot.

Stay out of my garage, especially after dark.

It's a quite simple imperative for personal safety.

I'm not in the habit of breaking and entering.

I'm also not in the habit of murdering helpless losers either.

How often did this guy leave his garage door open to attract anti-social types for execution?

I had a roommate once(only once). I thought he was sneaking my burboun so I peed in the bottle, thus corrupting my bourbon. He drank it for sure and freaked out. Same principal as stay out of my garage; it ain’t yours and the insulated laws of society should not protect your arse. Boy, he was mad I peed in my Bourbon. He also ate my leftovers. I put a different bodily fluid that comes out of my urethra under the cheese of my left over pizza; he didn’t see that coming either. I told him about that the next day. Messed up stuff happens when you mess with people’s stuff. Is it worth the personal collateral damage?

So your roommate was a thief, and you're a mentally disturbed sexual deviant.

Much like this story of the thief and the murderer, there are no winners.

Missoula suspect charged for theft that preceded fatal shooting

MISSOULA - The story behind who was in Markus Kaarma's garage prior to the night he shot a 17-year-old German exchange student to death continues to develop.

An 18-year-old man appeared in Missoula Justice Court on Thursday, accused of burglarizing Kaarma and his wife's garage on several occasions before Diren Dede was killed.

Tristan Alfred Staber made his initial appearance, and faces several felony charges.

Staber appeared before Judge Amy Blixt to hear the charges that include conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit criminal trespass to vehicles.

A 16-year old boy who is also suspected of being involved is facing burglary charges in youth court.

Court documents say Staber was the lookout, staying in the car while the juvenile burglarized Markus Kaarma's garage on or about April 17.

Records state Staber indicated that he and the boy were "car hopping", and went to three different houses in the Prospect neighborhood that had their garage doors open.

The affidavit says that around midnight the juvenile stole several items from the garage of Kaarma and his partner Janelle Pflager, including a glass bong, marijuana, credit cards and an iPhone 5

Staber was ordered held on $10,000m bail and is being held in the Missoula County Detention Center.

This isn't the first time Tristan Staber has been in trouble with the law. The 18-year-old has multiple misdemeanor charges filed against him in Missoula Municipal Court - ranging from theft to assault to criminal possesion of Paraphernalia and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

Kaarma had him cornered, toyed with him, and then executed him - although he had the foreknowledge, time and opportunity to call the police, who would have caught Dede redhanded.

Don't care. If on a jury, I would not convict. Dede was old enough to know he had no business stealing from people.

Thanks! Good to hear the police actually followed through on the investigation of these hardened criminals. They did grown-up crimes, let’s hope they do grown-up time.

Other jurors often pay attention to the laws they are enforcing and to the details of the case they are adjudicating.

Some ignore all that troublesome thinking and moral responsibility and just vote their gut, regardless of the law or their oath.

This was his first foray into ambush and murder that we know of - which explains his rookie mistake of boasting about the murder before he committed it, and then bragging to the police about how he murdered the guy afterwards.

A seasoned killer would probably have been more discreet.

Of course, Kaarma is also a druggie who was probably not a very sharp operator to begin with. His "baby mama" didn't help his cause either.

Don’t tell people you really want to kill a kid and are going to set up a trap so that you can

Try to be nicer to people, so that when you get accused of murder, your neighbors and others that have met you and are witnesses, don’t say you were scary and talked about killing people

What does age have to do with it? 15, 23 38? I was tuaght at a young age don’t touch was is not yours. Maybe I should have beat his arse? I thought it was better that I told him to his face the consequences fir touching my stuff after repeated warnings. And if you want to know, I drained the papharaltic after coitus with my Gf. It was her idea, because he woould eat her leftovers.

And, I would do it again. You handle your business the way you want, and I am going to do the same. Let me be clear; I smacked a homlesd guy on peachtree St in Atlanta last week because he called my wife a chink. I settle things with my own form of justice. It is truly a gift of life when you can sort out your own problems. I believe in prudent frontier justice.

Age has nothing to do with the subject. I asked because your comment sounded like something a young teen would say.
