On a more somber note...I have been waiting for weeks to watch the History Channel mini-series “THE WORLD WARS” and I got nice and comfy last night, with my sprained ankle elevated, my cup of tea, and my Lynn-dah by my side, and it opened with that evil spawn of satan giving the introduction. He talked about ME ME ME ME (his grandfather supposedly liberating Auschwitz all by hisseff, and his grandmother being the inspiration for Rosie-The-Riveter). I gritted my teeth and endured the intro, because I REALLY wanted to watch this series, as I am very interested in the relationship between the the Two World Wars.
I loved the dramatized parts, about the young Patten, Churchill, FDR, Stalin, and hitler, but then they kept reverting to commentary by (UNGH!) ColinBlow Powell.
The connection between Pancho Villa, Germany, Mexico, and, of course, Germany sending Lenin to Russia, were really well done and eye-opening.
Some judicious editing could make this a REALLY nice documentary, dramatic series. (SIGH)
Why, oh why does that moron have to sully and defile everything he touches, like an anti-midas!
Methinks Zero hasn’t heard himself fart since he got reamed by Frank Marshall Davis!
