Heavy use of pornographic material can make men stupid, apparently.
New research suggests that men’s brains shrink as a result of watching too much adult material.
German researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development found that men who watch a lot of porn tend to have smaller striatum.
The stratum is a region of the brain concerned with ‘rewards and motivation’ so the researchers believe watching porn damages their brain and makes them lazy.
There is a chicken and egg debate regarding these findings as to which came first, the smaller brains or the heavy usage of porn.
One conclusion is that less intelligent men love pornography.
Last year, a survey by the University of East London reported that 97% of boys and 80% of girls between the ages of 16 and 20 have watched porn.
Let’s assume the researchers chose this area to study because they had some previous experience with, and exceptional interest in, the phenomenon they chose to study. Let’s assume, as well, that someone among the lead researchers had to understand the subject matter well enough to lead a discussion about the choice of material the study subjects were to watch, and then review the material in detail to make sure it met strict research criteria. (Only such a prospective study, BTW, would be likely to prove causality, not mere correlation.)
If so, we can assume that these researchers had shrunken striatum as well, and that their research, therefore, must have been conducted by men who were stupid.

Any “given” in the animal kingdom considered a determinant in humans which offends modern notions about race or gender or culture will be ignored or considered inapplicable

AFAIK, male and female IQ has always showed a very nearly identical average.
However, males have a shorter and wider bell curve. IOW, there are many more male geniuses and idiots, while females are more often average.
If you have evidence to the contrary, I’d like to see it.

Not if there is actual evidence that brain size in humans is not directly related to intelligence. That is possible, but I haven't seen actual evidence to that effect.
