First Lady Michelle Obama has agreed to sponsor a future submarine named after her home state that will be staffed by an all-female crew.
The White House has announced that Mrs Obama has accepted an invitation to be the backer of the USS Illinois, a Virginia-class submarine being built in Groton, Connecticut, and Newport News, Virginia.
The new nuclear-powered boat is expected to join the fleet in late 2015.

I don’t know what is happening in other branches of the service, but in the Coast Guard, white males face a four year waiting list for enlistment. If you are a female, Black, or Hispanic, no problem.
An all female crew on a sub-— even Israel doesn’t do this.
Just imagine (like in the dormitory study) when all the
menstruating crew synchronize their cycles.

This idea is ridiculous, and is of a design to place Academy grads into line command in areas they CANNOT match performance with males. The jobs do require physical upper body strength, in maintenance,fire control, and many other areas including combat. Stupid good ship lollipop thinking.
The Silent Service cannot remain silent on this...certainly they will no longer be silent on patrol.

My herd of cows all go into estrus at the same time. They synchronize. Bring a new cow into the herd and she falls in synch with the rest of the herd. Makes things easy for the bulls.
