Anybody else think the "timing" of this story is suspicious? Just another reason for Barry to empty a few more cells, release a few more of his murderous brothers from GITMO?
But examine these checkable facts:
(1) Bowe Bergdahl's father has consistently made reference to his son and to mysterious "other Westerners" being held by the Taliban.
(2) Bob Bergdahl is on the record as working actively to release all Guantanamo detainees.
(3) This Canadian, Joshua Boyle, was married to the sister of Omar Khadr, the Guantanamo detainee who is now in Canadian prison.
(4) Joshua Boyle voluntarily went to Afghanistan, and long before he left he commonly wore a full, untrimmed beard with a fully shaven upper lip - the classic Wahhabist look.
I do not think it is beyond the realm of possibility that Boyle is still married to his first wife, is a Muslim, is an associate of the Taliban through his family connections (I find it hard to believe that Ahmed Khadr and Omar Khadr - both Islamic mujahideen in Afghanistan - would allow their daughter/sister to marry a kufr), went to Afghanistan to train and to serve as a bargaining chip for his Taliban friends, and is angling to get "traded" for the freedom of his brother-in-law so he can become a sleeper agent in Canada or in his second wife's home of the US.
