An Austrian man caused mayhem on an El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Munich on Thursday, when he started shouting about terror attacks and bombs.

The 25-year-old man, from Tyrol, had to be restrained and the Boeing 737 made an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria.
About two hours into the flight the man jumped up and started shouting: "Here are the terrorists, we have a bomb! Youll all be blown up and die like the people on September 11th!," according to a report in the Kronen Zeitung paper.
The man ran down the aisle, attacking staff who tried to stop him, and causing panic among the 98 passengers on board.
An Israeli air marshal restrained the man and wrestled him to the floor. The pilot then landed the plane at the nearest airport and alerted the police.
The Austrian was arrested by a special unit of Bulgarian police, and shortly after the plane was able to continue its journey to Munich.
The Austrian Embassy has been informed and an investigation is under way in Bulgaria.
Shouting Austrians make me nervous.
Shouting Austrians and Germany are a bad combination.
Did he have a short mustache?
Throw in a mention of a "beer garden," and I'm reaching for my Mauser.
Hermann. How many times have I told you that you no longer run an air force?
Isn’t that how WW2 started?
Should have just said, ‘G’day mate. We’ll throw a shrimp on the barbie if you’ll calm down.’
They certainly were at one time. I was in Germany for 4 years, and I think the utter devastation that Germany experienced in WW 2, had a profound impact on the Germans. They don't want that again. For the most part, and for whatever it is worth, I thought the Germans were the biggest bunch of pacifists I had ever seen.
No, his name was John.

An Austrian man? I am betting it’s some mohammedan that has immigrated to Austria.
