I like space quite a lot. But I have to say:
We have no space program.
We have no shuttle.
We have no space station.
We can’t go to the moon.
If we were to dream, then dreaming of going to the moon and harvesting resources and (perhaps) building colonies might be somewhat reasonable.
Dreaming about warp drives and interstellar travel?
Ain’t nobody got time for dat.
Right, and we can’t even put a man into low earth orbit now.

Cash on the nail for those who have the vision to have a space program.
NASA has lost a lot of it’s mission focus and like any other government agency..is bloated. I look to engineers like Elon Musk to take us to the next step. Government project/award? Yes. But it is still a competitive process and he is challenging the big leagues. So far, I like what I see.
But we got Muslims involved now.
