The stuff is really about to hit the fan.

Hope Israel is staying on guard 24/7.

Because Baghdad falling is BAD news for them!

Look up the prophetic passages that talk about “the Assyrian” in an end-times context. Mosul is the modern city on the site of Nineveh, which was the capital of the Assyrian empire. And Baghdad is near the site of Babylon. Could the Antichrist turn out to be the leader of a Muslim caliphate based in Mesopotamia?

Some say Baghdad is Babylon? What happens when it falls?

Easy! Obama, Hillary and Susan Rice all blame it on a You Tube video.

Those that say Baghdad is Babylon are wrong.

http://archaeology.about.com/od/bterms/g/babylon.htm

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are considered to be one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. They were built in the ancient city-state of Babylon, near present-day Al Hillah, Babil, in Iraq.

http://answers.ask.com/Society/History/where_was_babylon_located

Babylon (băbˈəlŏn) [key], ancient city of Mesopotamia. One of the most important cities of the ancient Middle East, it was on the Euphrates River and was north of the cities that flourished in S Mesopotamia in the 3d millennium B.C. It became important when Hammurabi made it the capital of his kingdom of Babylonia. The patron god of Babylon, Marduk (identical with Bel), became a leading deity in the Neo-Babylonian pantheon. The city was destroyed (c.689 B.C.) by the Assyrians under Sennacherib, and its real spendor belongs to the later period of Babylonia after the city was rebuilt. The brilliant color and luxury of Babylon became legendary from the days of Nebuchadnezzar (d. 562 B.C.). The Hanging Gardens were one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The walls of Babylon, its palace, and the processional way with the famous Ishtar Gate were decorated with colorfully glazed brick. Among the Hebrews (who suffered the Babylonian captivity under Nebuchadnezzar) and the later Greeks the city was famed for its sensual living. Under the rule of Nabonidus the city was captured (538 B.C.) by Cyrus the Great and was used as one of the administrative capitals of the Persian Empire. In 275 B.C. its inhabitants were removed to Seleucia, which replaced Babylon as a commercial center.

Fresh from the Telegraph:

A Twitter account believed to belong to ISIS has claimed that the militants have executed 1,700 Shia soldiers in Iraq. Meanwhile the group has allegedly pardoned 2,500 Sunni soldiers.

One of the scariest things about all of this is the 450 million dollars (in dinars) that was looted from the banks in Mosul this week - what the hell do you think the jihadi's will do with all that money?

Meanwhile - back in Washington, the Pentagon is making sure someone in jail get's their sex change operation.

Psalm 83 excerpt.

3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,and consulted against thy hidden ones.

4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation;

that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

5 For they have consulted together with one consent:they are confederate against thee:

6 the tabernacles of Edom, and the Ish'maelites; of Moab, and the Hag'arenes;

7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Am'alek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

8 Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot

Daniel 11 excerpt:

40 ¶ And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

Use the map in your Bible to understand this.

Since the hanging gardens existed in what is now Iraq and Babylon was part of what is now Iraq, I would suggest that it has fallen many times.

Are we living in the end times of the Bible??? Maybe but I have not seen the things that would make me say definitely yes.

So what happens when Baghdad falls??? Wait a while and see

If someone puts on shoes in the Middle East, it’s going to be called a sign of the end times. I hold firmly to the belief that it will only come when even believers aren’t looking for it. You could have people claiming that every year for the next century was going to be the year, and they’d all be wrong.

F15Eagle is correct in his post,

Everything that brings about the end will revolve around the division of what was restored in 1967 with Israel. Which is leading to the Jubilee restoration of the transgressors ‘coming to the full’ and of which there is a precise and conditional timing mechanism at work here,

Here is my conjecture: this is how and why the end comes when it does, everything else is a sideshow. Jesus told us there would be wars and rumors of War (WW1, WW2 and rumored WW3 “but the end is not yet”) but also there would be these kinds of miry conflicts of kingdom against kingdom, nation against nation at the end of age,

The restoration of Israel (I believe) is leading up to a Jubilee restoration that God will acknowledge in Heaven and as we’re shown in Daniel Chapter 7 and Revelation Chapters 4,5 and 6 with the court (24 Elders) going into session and the kinsman redeemer provisions (see the book of Ruth) being enacted with only Jesus being legally able (and willing as he does not have to do this for us) to meet these precise conditions to restore everything (and everyone) in this fallen creation. The Earth is his inheritance and it was stolen from him and he was cutoff with nothing. Read the parable of the wicked tenants and the vineyard,

Because this means his end, Satan is attempting to prevent the restoration of the Earth via the Laws and Ordinances enacted on the transgressors (Israel) for a set time, that is, Satan is attempting to prevent them from coming into effect as per the Law and scripture by A) breaking it by separating the restoration with false agreement or B) if that should fail, by placing a wall around it so that it can be encumbered by agreement and that it does not go out in the jubilee release per the strict requirements that must be met as outlined in Leviticus Chapter 25. I believe this is also why we’re shown that Jerusalem must be handed over in Revelation Chapter 11,

I think its this deceit for a false ‘peace and safety’ that is the ‘covenant with death’ Isaiah tells us about, and that it comes following when Israel agrees to divide the restoration (undoing what God gave them and where no power on Earth could take by force) and the result is that it brings the war in Heaven (as we’re shown in Revelation Chapter 12) with Satan being cast out to the Earth, and then comes the great tribulation, the time of Jacobs trouble following immediately after this (momentous,pivotal) event,

Google “Israel and the wall” and see pictures of it for yourself, they have some 400 miles completed already, Satan is the great deceiver and working both sides to his same end, he is being held back today only by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the Earth (in this Earth, in you and I) and we’re told straightway that he will ‘no longer restrain’ at some future time, and if you think about it with the above conjectures in mind, you can begin to see why this must be,

8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

Leviticus 25:8-13

29 And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.

30 And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.

31 But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.

Leviticus 25:29-31

Another little morsel from the Telegraph:

ISIS have tweeted the decapitated head of what appears to be an Iraqi policeman with the sentence 'This is our football, it's made of skin #World Cup', followed by a boast of having slaughtered 1,700 soldiers.
