I could not believe what I was seeing. There was Chris Christie, the Governor of New Jersey doing a "Lindy" type routine with Jimmy Fallon. The piece was titled Evolution of Dad Dancing. I have to say, I admire his courage to get out there on nationwide camera giggling and jiggling in his blue short sleeved Polo Shirt, and his White Khaki pants yanked up north of his elbows. I'm somewhat overweight too, and I could not have done it. Of course, I don't expect to allow my name to be floated as a possible contender for GOP Presidential Nomination. Nor do I have to jump through hoops to distract the public from errors in judgement made by my personal staff (but not by me!). I was at the gym on my stationary bike with no volume on. I saw them both on TV dancing and joking around. The subtitle said; Chris Christie Dances Off Bridge Scandal! And me, standing here without a drop of eye bleach!
He is a horses ass....so he’s probably got a great chance to be the R nominee....based on who we came up the last few times.

Yes, I thought it was funny too. Christie’s got some Irish charm and truly the gift of performance.
OK, I get that it is stupid, I said to hubby: you know this is the most important interview Christie will ever give, if he does badly he’s done, if he does well he might still be POTUS.
I did not know there would be dancing!
So, I admire him for pulling it off so well. We do need more Pubbies that can connect with people and not be a bunch of stiffs.
I wish he’d done “The RINO!”.

We really did get a kick out of it, esp. since hubby’s brother has a lot of moves like that. He always does “the weed wacker”.
I said to hubby - oh my goodness, he’s doing the Uncle Tommy dance!
Compared with the picture of Guiliani in drag, I like this better.
If you notice how far he went into the knee bends, it’s impressive what shape he’s in, especially for his size.
Yeah, I still remember his populist stance against greedy public employee unions. He’s not conservative but I believe he’s a good guy. And I’m not prejudiced against overweight people.
