After months of speculation it looks as if Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has found its Aquaman. On Monday HitFix reported former Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa will be slipping on a green and orange bodysuit to play the aquatic superhero that, when not battling villains, goes by Arthur Curry. '[Director] Zack Snyder has already finalized his design for the character so shooting can take place soon,' the site claimed.

The guy is a very good actor. He did a perfect job portraying Khal Drogo.
Aren’t there a lot say non-PC jokes about why Aquaman has been ignored up till this time.

I am so not seeing this already disaster of a Man of Steel sequel.
Affleck as Batman is bad enough - now we have an anorexic Wonder Woman and now Khal Drogo playing Aquaman.
This will end up being worse than Snyder’s Sucker Punch and share the Halley Berry Catwoman league of shame.
DC is a mess rushing to ride on Marvel’s coattails.
Thus guaranteeing I won’t watch it. One of the most stunningly boring characters in comics.
I loved him as Ronon in Stargate: SG1. He was a badass for sure.
Is he Spanish? Hispanic or Mexican? I hope so, a white guy playing Aquaman would be racist.
He looks Norse, maybe a little Conan Barbarian. We could do a blood test.
Everybody knows Vinnie Chase is Aquaman.
Clearly you gave up before a few years ago. The recent run has been outstanding. Hopefully they’ll take their cue from that rather than the 1970s cartoon.
He actually played Conan in the “reboot” a couple of years ago. It wasn’t good.

Good writers can make any character intersting, but Aquaman just doesn’t inspire me.
