Follow the Constitution specifically the 10th Ammendment state sovereignty.

Not going to happen before the states return to the senate.

The Framers were realists. They knew from experience that men naturally sought power. It is why they relied on the structure of the government, of power divided between the state and the government they created to secure our rights.

Please list your many constitutional experts.

Today, Obama confiscated private property, the Washington Redskins trademark.

His EPA has gotten used to doing the same thing, but when individual small property owners were affected, well, it just didn't make headlines.

The screws of arbitrary government tighten every day and we are told to ignore the power the Framers bequeathed to us.

The states are slowing starting to step up and assert their sovereignty.

At this moment, state sovereignty exists at the pleasure of Obama and nine blackrobes. They are not even allowed to defend their borders nor define marriage.

Is the Federal Government “broken”, or have factions seized control and undermined the structure’s integrity?

With the exception of the structural change of Amend XVII, and the leviathan enabling Amend XVI, it is the controlling factions’ nefarious actions which cause our problems.

Consider carefully this question.

Is the architecture flawed, the blueprint in error? Or are the workers incompetent?

Do we fire the architect or the workers?

Respectfully,
Ray

And there will be NO, I repeat NO state Executive (Governor) who will tell FedGov to take a hike...

States Right, State sovereignty and the 10th amendment mean NOTHING to today’s Washington Uniparty...

There may be NO reasonable democrats left in DC, but I know at the state level these guys are taking the same beating we are and living though Executive & Judicial branch decisions...

The state legislatures will have to right this ships course...

Exactly. Who can avert his glance to what is right before his eyes?

History will not look well on a people who gaff of their responsibility.

"Follow the Constitution specifically the 10th Ammendment state sovereignty"

We are following the Constitution when it comes to the 17th amendment. The direct election of senators is 80% of our problem. Without the 17th people like Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Mitch McConnel, Lindsey Graham, and every other entrenched self electing celebrities simply don't exist. The Senate is supposed to represent the states, not a millionaire boys club of corrupt snobs playing country.

We are also following the Constitution as it pertains to the commerce clause. This power had narrow meaning when added by the framers. Now the beast in Washington can use it to control everything. We need to REMOVE the commerce clause and let the free market do it's job.

So there you have it. Two areas where the Constitution IS being followed as you prefer and those two areas alone are virtually destroying the republic.

So the Constitution MUST be updated if we are to regain the freedom envisioned by the founders. An Article V convention is the Founders solution to this problem so you are arguing against some pretty well thought out plans by some of the brightest political minds ever to live.

“So the Constitution MUST be updated”

That’s what Barack Obama and his activist Supreme Court Judges want to do.

Ask yourself what would the founding fathers want to do? They would say “use the 10th Amendment” That’s what its there for.

What would the framers want to do? I feel quite certain they would use article V to dismantle the central government cabal. If that failed, I think they would use the 1776 solution and start over. If you are truly asking what they would do simply read the first few paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence. They answered your question directly.
