It is true that we have waited too long to avoid some serious damage to the planetary ecosystem – some of it, unfortunately, irreversible. Yet the truly catastrophic damages that have the potential for ending civilization as we know it can still – almost certainly – be avoided. Moreover, the pace of the changes already set in motion can still be moderated significantly.

Thank Al Gore that as a planet we have not done enough but it has been enough - by some magical wave of his hand it is all gunna be alright now even though we never did enough to make it all right we somehow did. I have never read such a load of nonsense in my whole life - he could never bring himself to admit that they were completely wrong so this gigantic lie must be made so that we can nervously pat each others backs say “Well Done Oh good and faithful Comrade” but still be on our guard against unbelievers - and of course we still need to make more laws to stop those unbelievers from putting Gaia in danger again! I shouldn’t be amazed at the depth of people’s gullibility and the lies that people tell but I still am!

He just reset the stopwatch to another ten years, sort of like the (eternal) Soviet 5-year plan on steroids.
He hopes we'll all be dead when he splits with the ill-gained protection money extorted by complicit criminal politicians from the American taxpayers.
If I had enough money I would follow Al Gore’s example.
I would buy a couple of expensive mansions, SUV’s to drive around in and use private aircraft to travel around the globe (leaving a carbon footprint impossible to obtain in the entire history of my family) to extol the horror of climate change.
Then I would fly back to one of my mansions, enjoy a good bottle of wine, and ponder why the progressives are such chumps.
As they always do in communist countries. Sorry, but I despise Al Gore, with passion.
It’s time that Algore is arrested for running this hoax and scam against the American people.
A lot of people, including myself, have viewed “The Hunger Games” as a very subversive view of the (near?) future - where the effete live high off the hog on the backs of the serfs. This, of course, would be just the way Al would like it.
