The reason to wait is that to IMPEACH the Senate must convict...so even if the HOUSE votes to Impeach it dies in Senate...wait until Harry Reid is out and the votes are in the Senate to CONVICT IN THE IMPEACHMENT. CIVICS 101

My answer was only that we need both House and Senate for the Impeachment to work. As for what GOP would do is not relevant to what it actually takes to Impeach with conviction....and without that Senate vote it carries no real weight.

Of course he deserves to be removed from office for 100 different “high crimes and misdemeanors” but there's not a snowball's chance in hell that the Senate will vote to convict *and* it's extremely likely that it will greatly enhance his popularity...as it did for BillyBob.

If the house sends articles of impeachment to the senate they have to hear them. May not remove but have to have hearing presided by the chief justice.

No matter how the repubs do in Nov, they won’t have 66 woes to remove. But their is a duty to proceed and let the democrats do what they do.

Sure, but what does it say when nothing of importance happens and Obama declares victory over a House Impeachment?

I think the House is waiting to see what happens in November, I think that makes sense...it’s not like Zero is going anywhere before then....and circumstances may change enough to get something substantial.
