Sure, Las Vegas is known for its casinos. But just because Sin City has the highest concentration, that doesnt mean it has a monopoly on gambling. If Vegas isnt your thing but you still want to hit the slots and be entertained, then seek an alternative at one of these non-Vegas casinos that are getting the most Yahoo searches.

Just stay away from the Oriental, its a regular slaughterhouse.
One of my bosses told me about the time a guy was shooting dice and had a hefty bet on the line. His girlfriend was very well endowed. The guy threw the dice and yelled “Seven! I win!” At the same time his girlfriend popped open her blouse. After he left with his winnings, the box man asked the stickman what he rolled. The man on the stick said, “Hell if I know.”
Trump Plaza is closing down. I also did not see Tunica on the list. One of my best friends won $4,000 at Keno in Tunica. Lucky duck.
That guy looks familiar. I think he was in the tent next to mine!
“Beau Rivage in Biloxi Mississippi “
Stayed there just after Katrina. Excellent hotel. The best I have ever stayed at.
Don’t know how valuable it was. And certainly not valued. Just the obvious truth.
I like Pechanga in Temecula CA. They do a good job and have top rank entertainment. Good hotel also.
Here’s the truth. The casino I have been to nearby sends out a squad of armed security. They grab me, take my credit card and force me to gamble.
Unlike Disneyland where a ticket is $100 per.
You see, there are many forms of entertainment and many of them cost money.
So make your choice and I’ll make mine.
If we want a change of pace, we drive the 200 miles to Laughlin - but be aware most of the hotels are pretty dumpy, with the exception of Aquarius.
Haven’t been there for 20 years. Didn’t care for it.
Only go to Vegas if somethings up with friends or family.
Why drive by Pechanga and a few others to go another 4.5 hours to get to Vegas.
I’m not much of a gambler, more food and entertainment, but I have that 25 miles from home.
The best casino is the one you own.
The others are terrible.
I know a sure fire way to make money on the slots.
Own them.
See, that's the error in thinking right there. You don't play the slots to make money. You play the slots to have fun. If playing the slots is not fun to you, don't do it.
My wife and I take the amount of money a couple of tickets to a show would cost and step into a casino. We sit side by side, and watch each other play, joke, have fun, enjoy the sounds and the lights (and the drinks), play very slowly (that's a key right there), spend a couple hours, and enjoy ourselves. If one of us happens to hit the jackpot (now and then it happens), we stop right there and walk away, go and have dessert at one of the restaurants, and go home happy.
If that's not your cup of tea, no prob. It's ours.
We go to Las Vegas every year for an “event”. I have not lost a dime gambling..... because I don’t gamble. It is not fun to me. I don’t mind spending money and getting something in return or giving it away for a worthy cause, but I’ll be darned if I am going to drop it in a machine on the slight chance that I might and get something back.
But that’s just me.
DE GUSTIBUS NON EST DISPUTANDUM
Moma tol me not to come. That ain't the way to have fun, son.
It's a sickness. You want to tell me it's none of my business that's find and true. Don't tell me it's "fun".
Kindly tell me where in my post I told you it's none of your business...
I’m telling you it’s none of my business that people flush their hard earned money down casino toilets.
And I’m telling you people who do that aren’t having “fun”. they are destroying themselves.
I pity them.
Well, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. You have yours, and I have mine. We just differ, that’s all.
If you dump your hard earned money into a casino toilet then I pity you.
