I worked as a TV Tech Director at the 2008 DNC. I remember
B-HO painting his pretty verbal canvas of platitudes and centrist rainbows - and looking to my left and to my right as my own TV crew started to get enrolled. I remember thinking “wtf, seriously?”. I was alone amongst tens of thousands of alien zombies. (I’m just thankful that I got to gawk at Megyn Kelly for a while. :) )

I recall the endless pimping of the media for Obama surrounding his speech. The talking points memo they were all reading from described him as a "rising star".

It was easy to see even then the man was a hard-core leftist. I feared for the future of this country that night, because I knew the media was determined to elevate him to the presidency. Looking back over these last 10 years, my worst fears have been realized.

What is really sick is that if Obama could run for a third term, he would win.

It’s amazing. And after Obama’s 2008 campaign got underway, I made several posts here calling his campaign “The Cotton Candy Express” because there was so much fluff. Then I started calling him Elmer Gantry because what he was preaching seemed so insincere and overwrought.

Then after he’d been in office a very short time, I posted that: “Obama views the USA like an envioius and resentful Third Worlder.” And later that he is our first Third World president.

He once said that recipients of government benefits are an important part of a winning Dim coalition. But it’s still amazing that he has been able to hoodwink enough Americans to be elected twice.

Demographics, plus several million conservatives were so turned off by McCain and Romney that they stayed home.

Fortunately I missed the speech but it was sure obvious what kind of guy he was once his activities in Chicago and Illinois politics, race and religion began to be revealed.

Apparently there are a lot of people willing to overlook facts when it comes to politics and power.

His wife and kids were on stage. I could not get over just how absolutely livid and pissed off she looked the entire time.

And in ten years, her expression has not changed.

I agree, he's always been so overwrought and pie-in-the-sky that it's difficult to believe so many fell for any part of it. That's what clued me into him during that 2004 DNC speech.

And what about that “black widow” dress she wore - that was an “in your face” statement that they were going to f up America for everybody.

Maybe we need to create a new position in our government. We’ll call it “THE CHIEF BULLS**TTER”. We’ll pay $2,000,000 a year. It would be an elected position. This person would just go around the country and around the world bulls**tting people. This way, we could draw out those people who want the big money for just bulls**tting like Clinton and Obama. All the victim groups could vote their representative in.

“Demographics, plus several million conservatives were so turned off by McCain and Romney that they stayed home.”

Those numbers should include 25% of evangelicals and that alone would have been enough to turn the tide.

Apparently there are a lot of people willing to overlook facts when it comes to politics and power.

It's been my experience that those who talk the most about honesty and integrity, and lofty political values, are the ones you can count on to be the least guided by such claimed virtures, in public or private life.

The guy claiming to be a great uniter at the DNC in 2004 has been the most divisive, lying president of the post WWII era.

This could be a very depressing thread if we weren’t closer to his departure than arrival. We hope.

Guess it’s just too hard for them to admit they made a mistake & he is it.

Oh, there was no mistake. America's top elite families wanted their robot in the Presidency and they got him here.

Yep, the administration that's talked the most about being transparent is the Obama administration. Second place goes to Slick Willie.

Who would have thought someone could come along and almost make Bill and Hillary look honest.
